This Return & Refund Policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work when you purchase from SkillNestKids.com.

1. Return Window

You may request a return within 7 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

  • Unused
  • In its original packaging
  • In the same condition you received it
  • Complete with all parts, accessories, manuals, cards, and packaging inserts
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase or order confirmation

For hygiene, safety, and child-use reasons, items that have been opened, used, damaged, or missing parts may not be eligible for return.

2. Non-Returnable Items

For safety and quality reasons, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Used toys
  • Opened items with missing packaging
  • Items damaged after delivery
  • Sale or clearance items, unless defective
  • Gift cards
  • Personalized or custom items
  • Items with small parts removed from their original packaging
  • Products showing signs of wear, stains, damage, or misuse

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If your item is damaged, defective, missing parts, or you received the wrong product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at:

  • Clear photos or video of the issue
  • A photo of the packaging
  • A short explanation of the problem

If the item is confirmed to be defective, damaged on arrival, or incorrect, we will offer a suitable solution such as:

  • Replacement
  • Exchange
  • Store credit
  • Refund

4. Exchanges

We may offer exchanges if:

  • The item is unused and in its original packaging
  • The request is made within 7 days of delivery
  • The product is eligible for return
  • The replacement item is available in stock

If the replacement item costs more, you will need to pay the difference. If it costs less, we may issue store credit or refund the difference depending on the situation.

5. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7–14 business days.

Please note that your bank, card provider, or payment gateway may take additional time to reflect the refund in your account.

6. Shipping Costs for Returns

If the return is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, SkillNest will cover the return or replacement shipping cost.

If the return is due to a change of mind, duplicate order, wrong item selected, or personal preference, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Original delivery fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error from SkillNest.

7. Order Cancellations

You may request to cancel your order before it has been shipped.

Once your order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. You may still request a return after receiving it, subject to this Return & Refund Policy.

8. Refused Deliveries or Failed Delivery Attempts

If an order is refused at delivery or cannot be delivered because of incorrect contact details, wrong address, or repeated failed delivery attempts, additional delivery fees may apply.

Refunds for refused or failed deliveries may exclude shipping, handling, and return courier fees.

9. Product Safety & Supervision

SkillNest products are selected for children’s learning and play, but children should always use toys under appropriate adult supervision.

Please check the recommended age range, safety notes, and choking hazard warnings before allowing your child to use any product.
